Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
What does MNP mean?
Owing to “Mobile number portability” service, a phone number permanently used by subscriber can be connected to network of any mobile operator without any changes. Since number portability is implemented with prefixes allocated to operators (050, 051, 055, 099, 070, 077), subscribers can retain their numbers when changing a mobile operator. Therefore, after the change of mobile operator, subscribers do not have to buy a new number and inform persons who know them about the change of number

How to join Bakcell

Bring SIM-card of your current operator to any of Bakcell official shops and present your ID. You need to be an owner of the mobile number. If you are not an owner, you need to present the power of attorney from the owner

Bakcell representative checks your active number by calling

You choose one tariff from attractive Bakcell offers

You fill in the application form for a port-in number and sign a unified subscription contract. You are given Bakcell SIM card for free

You need to wait up to 3 days until your number is ported-in to Bakcell. This is a standard term for all operators set by the regulator

One day before the actual port-in, you will be notified via SMS to your active mobile phone number (SIM card of your current operator)

Two hours before the port-in time both of your SIM cards will be in inactive mode
8
Right at port-in date and time you will become a lucky owner of Bakcell subscription. You will no longer need SIM card of your previous operator
